                                                                                                          "SPIRITUAL DARKNESS"

...."Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight"....
                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Proverbs 3:5-6 NASB

Spiritual darkness is caused by a greater desire to be "right" in one's own thinking, than to come to the knowledge of the truth [the Will of God] at all cost to the "flesh". Spiritual darkness only exists when the "natural" [preconceived notions and "mental" ascensions] is put in the place of the "divine" [revelation]. It is the Father's desire to direct the feet of His precious children onto the path that He has chosen for them - having already prepared perfectly the way before them. As we truly acknowledge Him in ALL things it is certain that this secure - albeit, narrow - path will unfold before us. One needs to "hear" [on an ongoing basis] the voice of the Holy Spirit in order to walk in the fullness of this revelation. For if one seeks to lean upon their "own" understanding and, thus, go their own way they will surely enter onto the path that the Evil One would have them on - a path that may "seem" right but, in reality, will only end in darkness and confusion
[Proverbs 14:12]. It must be understood by every child of God that there are only two paths: one leading to death and one leading to life; one leading away from fellowship with the Father and His Word, and one leading to an ever deeping relationship with the Father and His Word. Let us be those who are found faithful in this most critical hour to choose the "illumined" [high and raised up] path that our loving Father has chosen for us - for deep darkness will surely enshroud those who turn their faces from Him [Isaiah 60:2] [through a continued "heart-fellowship" with the world and its ways].
