FIRE
BY NIGHT
"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]
...."You,
in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of
cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, nor the pillar of
fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go"....
Nehemiah 9:19 NASB

DISCERNING BETWEEN BEARING ONE ANOTHER'S BURDENS AND THE INNER WORK OF THE HOLY
SPIRIT
Words of Prophecy
* If
one is going to "bear other's burdens" properly then they themselves
must be wholly given to Me. For it is ONLY in this way that they will have the
"strength" [empowerment] to bear the
burdens while, at the same time, continuing to walk on in their own calling and
ministry.
* Bearing the burdens
of others [as led by My Spirit] is an act
carried out in the spirit, not the soul of a man. For to attempt to carry out
this act in the "soulish" realm [mind, will emotions]
would be to fall into the trap of the "Satanic counterfeit", and
would constitute nothing more than anxiousness, worry and fear [sympathy]. As one truly "bears another's
burdens" in the spirit, they effectually cause My power to be released on
that one's behalf - "pushing" back the hosts of darkness working
against the one being "ministered to".
* Many show an
"outward" concern for those in need of deliverance, but they continue
to pray amiss due to their failure to forsake all to obey the voice of My
Spirit, and their failure to measure "fully" My Word in their own
lives. Did I not say that it was the fervent, effectual prayer of a
"righteous" man that avails much [James
5:16b]? All "burden" for prayer is brought forth from My
Spirit, through the spirit of the one who is "clean" before Me; and
while they may wrestle and battle fiercely with the hosts of darkness as they
are set apart to pray, the true intercessor will in no way ever be moved to
pray by what is perceived, solely through the five physical senses but, rather,
according to the "revelation" rising up in their inner man.
* The bearing of
other's burdens [true intercession] in the
midst of My people is one of the deepest expressions of My Love - and the fruit
of this faith and love on the behalf of the "captives" in Zion will
become evident very quickly in this hour. GREAT is the reward [both in this age, and in the ages to come] for those
who have laid their lives down and even forsaken the pursuit of that which is
part of their own destiny [and, thus, rightfully
belongs to them] in order to elevate their brothers and sisters into the
perfect liberty that is theirs, in Christ!
...."When
the LORD brought back the captive ones of Zion, We were like those who dream.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter And our tongue with joyful shouting;
Then they said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for
them." The LORD has done great things for us; We are glad. Restore our
captivity, O LORD, As the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall
reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of
seed, Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with
him".... Psalms 126:1-6 NASB
* The
"feelings" [pressures] that arise
while one is bearing another's burden [spiritually in
intercessory prayer] are "transitory". So endure [in faith, love and obedience] until the victory [breakthrough] is obtained - knowing [having a revelation of the spiritual reality] that your
prayers have not been in vain, and that they will bear much fruit for the
Kingdom in the glorious days ahead.
"transitory" - existing for a
short time only; passing;
* Never allow yourself
to be overwhelmed by the thoughts and impressions you are experiencing when you
have entered into intercession on the behalf of others. For that which you are
experiencing does not represent your heart [which is
already established through revelation] but rather the heart and mind of
those you are standing in the gap for.
...."Bear
one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ [which is the Law of Love]".... Galatians
6:2 NASB
...."In the
same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as
we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for
words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is,
because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God"....
Romans 8:26-27 NASB
When one
experiences anything in their inner man [or soul:
mind, will, emotions] it is always a good practice to ask the Holy
Spirit if it is something that they are "picking up" in the spirit
realm or is what they are experiencing an "inner thing" pertaining to
them personally. In light of the fact that the Holy Spirit is always doing the
deeper work of the Cross in the lives of those who belong to God it could be
something personal - dealing with our own actual state of heart. On the other
hand, it could very well be another heart [or
hearts] that is being picked up in the Spirit [as there are, again, a million facets of the Father's Will
coming together in any given moment - according to His highest plan and purpose
for the remnant Church]. This can be "potentially"
somewhat confusing as that which is picked up in the Spirit seems so
"real" to us [as if we, ourselves, were
actually sad, fearing, lonely etc.]. This is precisely why it is SO
important to keep one's heart both "established" and grounded in the
Word [Will] of God [Joshua 1:8]. For, THEN, any "burden"
or "feelings" can be recognized as being "cross-grain" to
that which we already have a revelation of [victory
over] in our heart - for, sometimes, the "inner turmoil" [feelings] one experiences is potentially
overwhelming and, thus, in those times, the "reality" of the
revelation already abiding in one's heart "seems" to disappear for a
time. In this place, it will take faith [and the
necessary word and actions that correspond with it] to empower one
to continually "rise above" the pull of the very burden they are
bearing. Therefore, the higher the spiritual position one maintains [in the power of the Holy Spirit] [Ephesians 2:6] the smoother the intercession
will go - ultimately ending in victory on every front [both in the life of the intercessor and the one{s} being
interceded for].
The aim, then,
is for one to simply keep on walking in perfect obedience [continue going about the Father's business - doing only
what you "know" to do], although, sometimes that is easier
said than done - as one will ALWAYS face some form of resistance from the
Enemy. However, there are times when one cannot do anything else but pray - in
whatever way they are led by the Holy Spirit. This is another place where
"praying in the Spirit" [with other
tongues] becomes VERY important
because even though we do not "consciously" know exactly what is
going on [at times - for there are other times when
revelation will flow as we pray] we can hold to the deep assurance
that the Holy Spirit most certainly does.
