EXHORTATIONS FROM THE FATHER
["Reflections" Of The Father's Heart]
[APRIL 30TH 2011]
+ Beware of those who
desire to be "seen" by [seek
after the honour and praises of] men
above all else. For in their ardent pursuit of self-glory it is certain that
they will have first forsaken My Will and plan for their life and ministry -
and, thus, they have become "purveyors" of great darkness in the
midst of My people.
...."Beware
of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise
you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. So when you give to the
poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues
and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you,
they have their reward in full. But when you give to the poor, do not let your
left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in
secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. When
you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and
pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by
men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But you, when you
pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is
in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward
you".... Matthew 6:1-6 NASB
...."I receive not glory
from men [I crave no human honor, I look for no mortal fame], But I know you
and recognize and understand that you have not the love of God in you. I have
come in My Father's name and with His power, and you do not receive Me [your
hearts are not open to Me, you give Me no welcome]; but if another comes in his
own name and his own power and with no other authority but himself, you will
receive him and give him your approval. How is it possible for you to believe
[how can you learn to believe], you who [are content to seek and] receive
praise and honor and glory from one another, and yet do not seek the praise and
honor and glory which come from Him Who alone is God?".... John 5:41-44 The
Amplified Translation
