EXHORTATIONS FROM THE FATHER

+ When one esteems "flesh and blood" [or themselves] above Me [in any way, shape or form] Satan takes that "worship" [idolization] and devotion as his own - and is given [through their pride and fear] continual inroads to that one's life and relationships.

"idolize" - to regard or esteem with blind adoration, devotion etc; to worship as a god;

...."If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate [footnote: i.e. by comparison of their love for Me] his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple".... Luke 14:26 NASB
