EXHORTATIONS FROM
THE FATHER
["Reflections" Of The Father's Heart]
[march 17th 2010]
+ If
My children will faithfully endure the Cross in this hour [the continual
exercising of faith, love and obedience unto the continual denial of the
self-life] - continually maintaining the joy [through faith and patience]
that is the spontaneous by-product of the revelation [vision] that is abiding
in their heart they will surely be raised up into the higher realms - and find
themselves "seated" at My right hand with Christ in the heavenly
places, which is the place of perfect rest [Isaiah 58:13-14]. It is from this
esteemed position, alone, that one will be found carrying out the true
Kingdom-service they are called to from now until the end of the age. Many have
by-passed the Cross in their pursuit of Resurrection power and the fullness of
their authority, in Christ, [the Ascension Life] and, thus, many
"works" that have, up until this time, been viewed as true works of
Mine shall now be seen for exactly what they are: words and actions that have
their origin in pride and the pursuit of self-glory. In the very same way that
faith, love and obedience are inseparably linked so, too, are the Cross,
Resurrection Power - and the exercising of the fullness of one's authority in
Christ [the Ascension Life]. As faith is not faith without the
"activation" of love, and faith and love are not exercised apart from
a perfect obedience [corresponding words and actions to a revelation of My Will] so, too, power
and the exercising of authority become corrupted apart from the foundational
principle of the Cross actively working in one's life - making that
"power" and authority a tool for one's own "self-elevation"
in the pursuit of the honour and praises of man. Truly I say to you this is,
indeed, the hour wherein one [even the passerby from afar] will once again be
able to distinguish clearly between that which is of Me and that which is not [Malachi 3:18]!
THEREFORE
THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne
testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance
(unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings
to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and
active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us,
Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the
Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its
Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining
the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring
the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God [Ps.
110:1]".... Hebrews 12:1-2 The Amplified Translation
...."And he
who does not take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me,
conforming wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also] is
not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his [lower] life will lose it [the higher
life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the
higher life]".... Matthew 10:38-39 The Amplified Translation
...."According
to the grace (the special endowment for my task) of God bestowed on me, like a
skillful architect and master builder I laid [the] foundation, and now another
[man] is building upon it. But let each [man] be careful how he builds upon it,
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid, which
is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). But if anyone builds upon the
Foundation, whether it be with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
The work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known (shown for what it
is); for the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it, because it will be
revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the
character and worth of the work each person has done. If the work which any
person has built on this Foundation [any product of his efforts whatever]
survives [this test], he will get his reward. But if any person's work is
burned up [under the test], he will suffer the loss [of it all, losing his
reward], though he himself will be saved, but only as [one who has passed]
through fire [Job 23:10]".... 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 The Amplified
Translation
