EXHORTATIONS FROM THE FATHER

                                                             ["Reflections" Of The Father's Heart]

+       A man/woman of understanding keeps silent [speaks no "inordinate" word] in order to maintain his/her position on the path of righteousness [righteous motivation]. For ANY unwholesome [self-justifying] word spoken [even in the face of great reproach and provocation] is simply "fodder" for the Enemy to fuel the flames of strife and division.

"inordinate" - excessive; unrestrained in conduct, feelings etc; disorderly; uncontrolled;

"fodder" - raw material;

"provocation" - something that potentially incites, instigates, angers or irritates;

        ...."He who belittles and despises his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding keeps silent. He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy and faithful in spirit keeps the matter hidden".... Proverbs 11:12-13 The Amplified Translation

        ...."Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God's favor) to those who hear it...... Let all bitterness and indignation and wrath (passion, rage, bad temper) and resentment (anger, animosity) and quarreling (brawling, clamor, contention) and slander (evil-speaking, abusive or blasphemous language) be banished from you, with all malice (spite, ill will, or baseness of any kind)"....  Ephesians 4:29,31 The Amplified Translation
