THE MINISTRY LETTER 2006 ISSUE 15

To all handmaidens and bondservants of the Lord Jesus Christ:

...."No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success"....
                                                                                                                                       Joshua 1:5-8 NASB

At all times we are either "meditating" on the revealed Word of God or the "fear-filled" lies of Satan. The Father desires us to be "immersed" in His Word - spirit, soul and body - for He knows that continual fellowship with His Word is the only way for us to experience the fulness of our salvation in Christ. We are called to live on EVERY Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. The Father desires each one of His children to live in His best - that being a state wherein we have His absolute life (love, light, truth) "controlling" our lives - far from the death and fear and corruption which infest this world. "Worry" - which is one of Satan's chief weapons aimed at pulling us down from the "high life" we have in Christ - is nothing less than "meditating" on (continually thinking upon) the lies of the Evil One. Meditating on the things of this world will produce a strong desire to "sow to the flesh" - which in turn will reap death and corruption in some form. Meditating on the things of God, thus keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, will create in us an attitude of "sowing to the Spirit" - which will in turn cause the absolute life of God to abide in us to a continually greater degree. Satan will attempt to use five different "vehicles" to cause us to fear and worry. They are: affliction; persecution for the Word's sake; the cares of this world; the deceitfulness of riches and the lust for other things apart from God. The continual application of the "revealed knowledge" of God's Word in these five areas will stop him cold! Therefore, let us diligently meditate the Word of God - day in and day out - that we might prosper and succeed in ALL that we do.

"STRETCH OUT YOUR FAITH ON "HIS" ABILITY"

Now is the time for every child of God to cast aside ALL which has its root in a "sin-consciousness". Let all "pre-conceived notions" and thoughts as to what the Father has called you to be, pass away; and take as your only "reality" the revealed knowledge of His will. In this last hour the Father is raising up many who will walk in the fulness of all that He has for them, and they shall surely walk in a degree of power that has never before been seen in the earth. It is so important for those "seeking first the Kingdom" to stretch out your faith upon "His" ability to make them what He has called them to be - and not hinder, through unbelief, the wondrous blessings which He has prepared. It truly is time for the world to see the unlimited power of Almighty God and it is also time for the sons and daughters of God to go forth in the power of His anointing to devastate the works of Satan! For too long the "reality" of vast multitudes of God's people has been found in that which is "temporal" - but it is certain that that day is at an end. For through the faith and love and obedience exercised by those who are "wholly given" to the Father and His purposes many captives shall be set free - and there shall be many who come forth to serve God with their hearts "wholly given".

"DO NOT SUCCUMB TO THE FEAR OF WHAT OTHERS THINK OF YOU"

Now is a time of "non-compromise" in all that we do and say. In the divine boldness that is the spontaneous by-product of an abiding righteousness the "sons and daughters" are to "bow their knee" to no man, but "know" by faith that they are empowered in all that they do by the anointing which "abides" within them. We must not - even for a moment - consider those things which proceed forth from the mind of man (Satan), but rather, consider only those things which the Holy Spirit has "revealed" to our heart. Do not succumb to the fear what others think of you. As we respect only the deepest thoughts and intentions (desires) of the Father's heart then surely we shall have success in all that we set our hand to, in Christ.

"THE FATHER DESIRES GREAT BOLDNESS IN HIS CHILDREN"

The Father desires great boldness in His children - a boldness so great (strong) that it shall cause great fear to rise up in the hearts of those who have forsaken God - and all that He stands for. In these days it is certain that the Evil One is attempting to bring the handmaidens and bondservants of God to a place wherein he can lure them into an "attitude" of compromise and into fellowship with the world; and those who "allow" themselves to be deceived shall surely know that they have forsaken the Father and His Word in order to please "flesh and blood". We must, from the place of abiding in God's love, speak His words moment to moment - KNOWING that in all that we speak, Satan will surely be defeated in the lives of those who will "hear" our voice with the ears of their heart.

A REVELATION OF THE "TRUE" APOSTLE

A key scripture verse concerning a revelation of the "true" apostle is found in 2 Corinthians 12:12:

...."The signs of a true apostle were performed among you with all perseverance, by signs and wonders and miracles"....

"all perseverance" - can be defined as an absolute faith working through a perfect (absolute) love - "manifested" through a perfect obedience, working through a perfect patience (the holding fast to the deepest thoughts and intentions of the Father's heart - at all cost to oneself with a view to seeing the perfect will of God come forth in "His" perfect timing).

"Signs and wonders"
- can simply be defined as "attesting miracles" - or in other words whatever is necessary to proclaim the absoluteness of the Father's love - in any given moment.

"Miracles" - can be defined simply as the "intervention" of the power of God  - in and by His Spirit - into the "existing" physical circumstances - whatever they may be.

In the past "miracles" were looked upon as something to ooh and ahh at. Their true significance and power were not understood in the light of the fulness of the Father's great purpose and plan for His people. In the Third Day they shall simply be seen as the "continuing" manifestation of the presence of God into the existing circumstances to accomplish His highest purpose - not the least of which is to see His precious children come to abide in the perfect [absolute] liberty that is theirs, in Christ. Although it is certain we must never "take for granted" the awesome power of the Father's love, it is also certain that we must NEVER settle for - or "expect" - anything less in the days ahead!

Let us hear the words of the Father:

"THEY SHALL COME FROM FAR AND WIDE TO HEAR THE WISDOM THAT I HAVE PLACED IN YOUR HEART"

...."As you look back across your life, you will see that it is not a surprising thing that you have ended up on the path which I have chosen for you. Walk on, knowing that I have been with you from the beginning, and that you shall not fail in all that I have called you to do. Indeed they shall come from far and wide to hear the wisdom which I have placed in your heart. Fear not, My beloved ones, only continue on in obedience to "all" the commands which I have given you. For once again the hearts of My people have turned towards Me and they long to hear the deepest thoughts and intentions of My heart. I have placed My vessels in their proper position in order that I might reveal an abundance of truth to My people. The light which shines forth through My bondservants and handmaidens in this last hour shall "drive out" the darkness from the hearts and minds of all those of My children who truly love Me"....

"AS THEIR HEARTS ARE INFILTRATED WITH MY LIGHT THEY SHALL COME INTO ONE ACCORD (TRUE UNITY)"

...."It is going to take some faith, My beloved ones, to get this job done, that is, all the things which I desire to accomplish through My Glorious Church. This is why it is so important for My children to draw near to My Word - for in abiding in My Word, overcoming faith shall rise up within them. As My children continue on in perfect obedience, I will be able to expand their vision and as their hearts are infiltrated by My light, they will come into one accord (true unity) with every facet of My will"....

"DO NOT FEAR THE DARKNESS IN THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF MEN AND WOMEN"

...."As you continue on in these "sessions" (the "inner chamber") with Me you are enlarging your capacity for My power to reside within you. Do not fear the darkness found in the hearts and minds of men and women, only know that the light which resides within you cannot be stopped by anything which is from without. As you guard your heart with all diligence, that light will flow forth continually, even at times when you do not even realize it. Therefore, go where I send you and speak what I have called you to speak - KNOWING that all My will shall be accomplished at all times, through your "perfect obedience". Always remember My beloved ones, that there is power within your inner man which you are not aware of at this time, so go forth and freely speak My Word in every circumstance you find yourself in, and you shall surely see the fruits of your time spent in fellowship with Me. The anointing which abides within you is more than capable of handling every circumstance which you find yourself in. In every attempt by Satan to disrupt you and in every word that comes against you, that anointing will enable you to overcome, by the words that you speak out of the abundance of your heart"....

...."In order to walk in the fulness of excellence of ministry, your words must be in accordance with My will and purpose at all times"....

...."Perfect obedience is the catalyst of light!"....

MEDITATIONS ON THE TRUE CHRISTIAN LIFE:

+       When God acts directly on the audience, the preacher's task is ended.

+       Full consecration is a necessary condition of any "deep experience" of God's keeping-power.

+       Our part consists in getting down into the death of Christ; His part is to live out His own life in us. And this assimilation to the dying Christ is not an isolated act, but a condition of mind ever to be maintained, and to go on deepening (l Peter 4:1). This simply means that however much any of us may have apprehended our death with Christ as a "terminus", or "boundary line between us and the world", and as "the divine laboratory" where the "flesh" is cauterized and "put to death" there must be a fresh and daily application of the power of the death of Christ by the working of the Holy Spirit, for the continued manifestation of the life of Jesus in actual freshness and power. Whilst it is therefore true that we have died with Christ to sin, so that we walk in newness of life in union with Him, it is also true that for "the life of Jesus" to be manifested, we cannot get away from the Cross, but must "always bear about" the dying "with Him".

+       One's true progress lies in self-denial, and the one who has denied himself is truly free and safe. But the Enemy, opposing everything good, does not cease from tempting, but day and night devises grievous ambush, if perchance he can tumble the "unwary" into the snare of deception. Watch and pray, lest you fall into temptation!

+       Bible study is mere theory, just a pleasing experience or an exercise of mind and imagination, worth little or nothing for a life of true "Christ-likeness", until the student is determined never to open or close his Bible without making God's purpose his very own. He must be ready to hear and obey when God says, "Do all that I speak".

+       In true Christian brotherhood everything depends upon its being clear right from the very beginning, first, that Christian brotherhood is not an ideal, but a divine reality. Second, that Christian brotherhood is a spiritual and not a "psychic" (soulical) reality.

+       When shall God be able to say to the Devil, "Hast thou seen my Christians of today?  No longer do they seek for gold or pleasure, for honors or ease. Yes when?  When indeed shall we see a real "Church Militant" here upon earth?

+       We will a thousand times sooner die trusting only in our God, than live trusting in man. And when we come to this position the battle is already won, and the end of the glorious campaign in sight.  We will have the real holiness of God, not the sickly stuff of talk and dainty words and pretty thoughts; we will have a pure and unadulterated holiness, one of daring faith and works for Jesus Christ.

+       All God wants is a heart, any old "turnip" will do for a head; so long as we are empty, all is well, for then He fills with the Holy Ghost.

Hear My footsteps?
I am walking among you, My people
To ignite you
With the Flaming Torch of holy fire!

I hear your prayers for revival
And I see your humble contrition
Your asking and seeking and knocking
Do please My heart
I see you tearing down strongholds
And I hear your joyful shouts of praise
Whoever believes in Me will not be put to shame
I'll exalt My name!

For in you I will amplify
The power of the Sovereign Most High
And through you I will magnify
The Word with signs that can't be denied
To make known the riches of My glory
On you, the vessels of My mercy

HIS TRANSFORMING FIRE

LaVonne D. Parke
lavonnde@bellsouth.net

Your Spirit, like liquid power, flows through me
As You hover over me so lovingly,
Releasing Your fire within me as a river,
Transforming me into Your image forever!

My spirit hungers for more of You, Lord.
I crave Your Presence, for You I adore.
Nothing compares to Your Presence within.
When one tastes of Your Spirit, new life begins!

Ne'r will I settle for less than a full portion!
I desire all of Your Spirit, given by Your Son!
To do all that You did, and greater things than You've done,
To accomplish Your will by Your power within!

You've set me aside, in Your Presence to abide,
To become a son of God, to be purified,
For the work You've destined for my creation;
To tell of Your Son to every nation!

Fill me until I can take no more.
Mold and shape me into Your image, Lord!
Here am I, Lord, use me until You return.
To fulfill my call, my heart yearns!

KORAH'S REBELLION

PART NINE

SATAN AND REBELLION ARE SYNONYMOUS

In understanding that rebellion is the principle of Satan, we can certainly see perhaps more clearly why God can in no way align Himself with rebelliousness or with anyone who aligns themselves with it. We know that the first time that rebellion came on the scene was when Lucifer rebelled against God, was defeated and cast out of Heaven, as Satan. From this we can say that all rebellion has its beginning in that foolishness which Lucifer displayed when he rebelled against Almighty God, and thus we see that anyone who in any way aligns themselves with the old nature (the mind of Satan) commits an act of rebellion against God. We need to explode the myth that children of God cannot be "held captive" by the Evil One to carry out his will (which is rebellion against God and all His purposes - lawlessness) (2 Timothy 2:26)! If we are not being obedient to the voice of the Spirit of God and the Word of God then we are aligning ourselves in some way with the lies and schemes of the "Evil One and the principle of rebellion and this is precisely the way that God looks at it. We can look at anything any way we want to but unless we seek to see "all" things through the eyes of God then our "opinions" are useless. One can most assuredly think that they are right in their dealings with God and their idea of how to carry out His will, and even how to please Him, but the only thing that shall stand is the revelation of God's Word (Will) as administered by the Holy Spirit to the deepest fibre of one's being.

OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY - INTIMATE FELLOWSHIP WITH THE FATHER AND HIS WORD

And so, our number one priority must always be to spend time with God as He directs us and He will surely reveal the deepest thoughts and intentions of His heart. In our diligence we shall take a firm hold of the call to perfect obedience for our lives and forsake the sin and rebellion that leads only to corruption and death for the true wages of righteousness - which are superabundant life. As we reflect back on this story of Korah and his rebellion, let us look at some things which will help us avoid the pitfalls which are still prevalent today and which shall continue to exist as long as Satan remains on the loose. To the degree that one remains in bondage to a "spirit of disobedience", it is to that degree that they will see only the barrenness of the "wilderness" (world) but on the other hand, as the child of God keeps their eyes fixed on the Word, then regardless of what circumstances they may find themselves in, they will always be able to see, in their spirit, the greater promises of God which lay ahead in their sojourn through this earth.

TRUE AUTHORITY IS NOT A MATTER OF OUTWARD INSTRUCTION BUT OF INWARD REVELATION

The first and foremost principle which we, as children of God, must adhere to is to be submitted to God's authority and learn to receive all that which God sends to us for our edification through His delegated authorities for these delegated authorities are not given to us for our harm but for our good. To safeguard against following after "flesh and blood" rather than God, every child of God must have this revelation: authority is not a matter of outward instruction but of inward revelation. It must also be understood that none who "adhere" to a "reliance" on the five physical senses are able to walk on the narrow path of perfect obedience, for they shall be fooled continually by the things they hear and see, and to them the "narrow path" shall seem to be folly while the "broad" path of destruction shall seem to be the only way to go. We must understand that only the "faithful" may enjoy spiritual abundance - those who, by faith, accept the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit and the leadership of God's delegated authority. For to whatever degree one holds to "self- reliance" rather than an absolute reliance upon the Holy Spirit to lead them into all truth and to teach them all things, it is to that degree that they shall remain in "controversy" with the authority of God - both delegated and inherent. Again, let us clearly understand that rebellion is the principle of death, the principle of Satan and that whenever one resists God's authority, delegated or otherwise, God's judgement is immediate upon that one. Back-biting and inward resistance to God's delegated authority originate from a rebellious spirit and so therefore let us not fall prey to an "unbridled tongue" and let us not fail to give God's Word preeminence in our lives, for as His love is shed abroad in our hearts it will surely wash us and cleanse us continually of anything that would seek to resist the authority of God. Let us always remember that the call to submit ourselves to authority is in no way being subject to a person, but rather being subject to the anointing of God which is on and in that person - the anointing which came to that person when God ordained them to be His delegated authority. As we continue on in our service to God and the story of Korah and his rebellion are brought to our thinking let us remember that:

...."these things happened to them as an example and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come"....
