MINISTRY LETTER 2006 ISSUE 14
To all
handmaidens and bondservants of the Lord Jesus Christ:
...."Do not
be anxious then, saying, "what shall we eat?" or "what shall we
drink?" or "with what shall we clothe ourselves?" For all these
things the Gentiles eagerly seek; for your Heavenly Father knows that you need
all these things. But seek first His Kingdom and all these things shall be
added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care
for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own"....

Everything we
need to sustain us spirit, soul, and body has been provided for us in Christ
Jesus. The Father, through His Word, has made provision for all of our needs,
therefore we must not even begin to take a thought for the meeting of our needs
by our own strength in a spirit of "self-sufficiency". As we focus
our eyes on the establishment of God's Kingdom, all those things which we need
to fulfil what we are called to shall be provided in their "due
time". Many believers tend to "self-sufficiency" because of
their desire to go their own way - apart from God. Many say in their heart
that: "God really doesn't want to hear about my little needs", but
the express goal of this lie and deception of Satan is to keep them in an area
of lack - struggling to meet their own needs and in bondage to fear, worry and
unbelief. When we "allow" ourselves to take a worry or care, Jesus is
no longer the primary focus in our walk. For as long as we hold onto that fear
and anxiety we are, in essence, saying that God is not able - or even worse -
is not willing to meet our every need - both of which are lies! How innocent
Satan has made reliance upon our "own understanding" seem - even
necessary! From this insidious root comes a church which walks devoid of power
because of her reliance on worldly wisdom and reason rather than the Holy
Spirit. Until we have a deep revelation in our hearts that the Word of God is
true - and that He is watching over His Word to perform it - our instantaneous
reaction to a situation will remain one of fear and worry rather than one of
faith and hope. It is only when our hearts are well established in God's Word
that fear will no longer be an "active" force in our lives. Let us
trust fully in the Word of our Heavenly Father in order that we might not lean
upon our own understanding for it is only then that we shall truly be
"anxious for nothing"!

DO NOT "ALLOW" YOURSELF TO BE IGNORANT OF
SATAN'S SCHEMES IN THIS MOST CRITICAL AND GLORIOUS HOUR!
Satan
has begun to devise some schemes to counteract the "prayers" of many
concerning their deepest heart-desire for the fulness of the Father's will for
their life and ministry to come forth - "as soon as possible" -
according to His highest purpose. Satan's aim is to get these faithful and
obedient ones "distracted" from walking in "perfect
corresponding action" to that deep, deep desire that the Father has placed
on their heart concerning them entering into His "perfect
positioning" for them in this most critical hour. Many are pursuing the
will of God for their lives with an intensity heretofore unseen, and thus Satan
has his back against the wall and is both confused and terrorized by this
sudden onslaught of holiness in the midst of the congregations of the
righteous! There is an "army" being raised up who refuse to settle
for "anything" less than the Father's best, and thus there is a
passion and fire inside them increasing daily concerning the perfect
fulfillment [in the perfect timing] of His will concerning them - both
individually and corporately - as it pertains to their
"Kingdom-position" in the Body of Christ.
"ONE
ACCORD - THE PERFECT CATALYST TO SATAN'S GREATEST DEVASTATION"
The
Devil does not want the children to come together in one accord and
"true" unity - in any way! There is something very, very special that
happens (a "corporate" anointing) when the children of God
"allow" themselves to be "gloriously connected" by the Holy
Spirit. When the children of God are established together in this way it produces
a "multiplied" strength that can be produced in no other way - not
even in one's own "personal" fellowship with the Father and His Word.
Of course, this is the way that the Father had planned it all along otherwise
each one of us could have accomplished all that we were created for - by
ourselves. May it never be, and may we never fall prey to this type of
rebellious thinking - in ANY way!
ONE ACCORD IS THE PLACE OF POWER
When
God's children truly come into this place of one accord (through their
continued obedience to the Father's will and the still, small voice of His
Spirit) and the "true spiritual environment" that that "true
unity" produces THEN there is a distinct "flowing" in the Holy
Spirit through that "perfect agreement" with the will of the Father
which spontaneously causes the "power" (compassion-love) of the Holy
Spirit to flow forth "unhindered" through that "fit
vessel(s)". This place of "one accord" (perfect agreement) or
true unity is the place of "power" that Satan cannot afford to allow
one to enter into (without contending for their soul) for this is the very
"environment" in which one will not only enter into glorious and
intimate fellowship with the Father and His Word, but also it is the place from
which one shall SURELY fulfil the fulness of their "Kingdom-position"
- and this to Satan's GREATEST devastation!
Glory to God!
"PERFECT CORRESPONDING ACTION"
To
love the Lord our God with our "whole" heart means that for us to
pursue anything less than the "perfect corresponding action" - in any
given moment - concerning the Father's best for us would be nothing less than
"hypocrisy", and that is not something that we, as the sons and
daughters of Almighty God should be prepared to live with - at all! It will
truly be interesting to see exactly what transpires in the coming hours and
days as the Glorious Church "takes legs", but one thing for sure: our
deepest and strongest desire should be focused on one thing - and one thing
only - concerning the fulness of all that we are called to in Christ - and that
is "as soon as possible, Father, as soon as possible!!!"
"IT IS SO EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR EVERY CHILD
OF GOD TO ENTER INTO THE PLACE OF ABIDING"
For
many years "certain" children of God have continually exercised faith
right in the face of, at times, extreme adversity, and thus Satan can no longer
find any opportunity (ground of fear) in them. Because of these things he MUST
now move to another place away from them where he can find an
"active" fear in the heart - in other words those who have not (by
faith) given their hearts wholly to the Father and His Word. This
"movement" by the Evil One and his forces away from those who have
faithfully come to the place of abiding in the presence of the Father and His
Word shall allow those faithful and obedient ones to carry out the portion of
the "Kingdom-business" which is theirs in Christ. It is so extremely
important for EVERY child of God to enter into the place of abiding in the
secret place of God's presence in these days. Those who "refuse" to
do so - through a "steadfast" rebellion and stubbornness - shall
SURELY be "prime targets" in these days where Satan and his forces
are concerned.
"PERSECUTION FROM THOSE WHO ARE "DRAGGING
THEIR FEET"
In
these days as one "continually focuses" on the revelation coming
forth from the Throne Room they must continue to love their enemies and pray
"without ceasing" - at all cost to themselves - for those who have
been used as vessels of persecution against them. The Father is bringing His
Church into the fulness of His plan for the Third Day, and it has become clear
that "some" are "dragging their feet" - preferring to hold
to any "recognition" they might have before men and turning their
back on the fulness of the Kingdom-position that is theirs in Christ. Because
of these things their "discernment" has become tainted through their
"holding" to their own self-desire and self-agenda. As I mentioned
earlier: pray for any you know to be in this position - for unless a deep and
thorough repentance is forthcoming they shall surely reap the consuming fire of
the Holy Spirit and their words (and the motives behind them) shall surely be
shown for what they are: "self-exaltive" and - ultimately -
"antichrist" (against the Anointed One and His Anointing).
WE "MUST" BE READY!
It is
a time of great judgement in the midst of God's people. We must ready ourselves
in perfect obedience to the Father and His will for the time has now come
wherein many of His children - who have hardened their hearts toward Him in the
past - will cry out to Him from their deepest heart of hearts. In light of
these things the Father shall now begin to send these "seeking" ones
to those who, in their obedience, have begun to establish the necessary true
"spiritual environments" - and in some cases He shall send His holy
bondservants and handmaidens to them, with a view to moving them towards the
"perfect" spiritual environment that He has for them. In these days
we must be found continually guarding our heart with all diligence that we
might be found in the "perfect position" (abiding in love) at all
times - in order that not one of these precious ones be hindered in any way
from coming into their "proper positioning" in the Body of Christ.
Let us hear the words of the Father:
"DEVELOP THE "SENSITIVITY" OF
HEART WHICH COMES ONLY THROUGH FELLOWSHIP WITH ME"
...."You
must develop the attitude of "intolerance" towards all influences,
both inward and outward, which are apart from My revealed Word. You must remain
in the secret place of My presence and therein develop the "sensitivity"
of heart which comes only through fellowship with Me. The power which you are
"charging" yourself with during the times of fellowship with Me is
more than enough to put you through - regardless of what crosses your path in
the days ahead. From this day forth, My beloved ones, you shall go forth as a
mighty vessel of life to My people and to the multitudes. Fear not for I am
with you in ALL things and you shall indeed go forth in the power of My
anointing and minister My life to My people - in a way that you never have
before"....
"I AM ABOUT TO PLACE GREAT ABUNDANCE AT YOUR
DISPOSAL"
...."My
beloved ones, I am about to place great abundance at your disposal. Do not
fear, only believe. For is not My Word true and am I not faithful? You have
forsaken much for the sake of My Kingdom - therefore only set yourself in a
position to "receive" the abundant return which I have provided for
you according to My Word. Have you not forsaken fathers, children and lands as
well as brothers and sisters - in obedience to Me? Rejoice My children! For
indeed you shall have the deepest desires of your heart. Trust Me in all things
for My hand is mightily upon you - and upon those who are with you. Surely you
would not deny the blessing of a Father to His sons and daughters?!"....
"GUARD YOUR HEART WELL, MY BELOVED ONES"
...."Satan
has assigned different troops, from this point on, against your ministry.
Seducing spirits who will subtly try to lead you apart from My perfect will
without you realizing it (presumption). They will "attempt" to appeal
to the covetous old nature, and if not guarded against, will lead you to seek
your "own" comfort, in My abundance (blessing), rather than to live
the life of the Cross. Guard your heart well, My beloved ones, for the battle
has already been won. Always remember that these demons can only work
effectively in the lives of those whose eyes are on the physical circumstances
and the care of what "flesh and blood" may think (the fear of man).
Therefore, keep your eyes fixed on Me at "all" times and it is
certain that "all" the schemes of the Evil One shall fail! In these
days, My Spirit shall rest upon you powerfully, My precious children, for you
are SURELY anointed to do all that I have created you for. Go forth in perfect
obedience - "knowing" that I have prepared your way. Do not be moved
by any circumstances which may surround you - for My power is more than enough
to overcome in all things. It is a time of great joy, My beloved ones, for the
"manifestation" of My Glorious Church draws near"....

MEDITATIONS ON THE TRUE CHRISTIAN LIFE:
+ If
it is true - and we know it is - that from thence - the Cross of Calvary - all
"life-power" radiates forth to the church of Christ, how much depends
upon our increasing knowledge of what the Holy Spirit has to teach us about it!
+ ....."In
my body I bear about continually the dying of Jesus, that in my body the life
also of Jesus might be shown forth. For I in the midst of life am daily given
over to death for the sake of Jesus, that in my dying flesh the life whereby
Jesus conquered death might show forth its power"... (2 Corinthians
4:10-11) What is the meaning of this? Why the need for "always bearing
about in the body the dying of Jesus"? Because in the body we are
open to the assaults of the world, the flesh, and the Devil, whilst in spirit
we are joined to the risen Lord, and sit with Him "enthroned in the
heavenly realm"; and so we need continually in ever-deeper measure to be
made conformable to His death, for it is only as we are thus willing "to
sink ourselves after His likeness" that the true life in spirit in the
heavenly sphere, can be maintained in purity, and increased in power.
+ All true
knowledge of God's Word depends upon there being first the will to do it. I
want to emphasize this: God will refuse to unlock the real meaning and blessing
of His Word to any except those whose will is definitely set upon doing it.
+ We can do many
things with God's commands: we can seek to know them; we can admire their
beauty; we can praise their wisdom; but if we do not do them, we deceive
ourselves and fall short of pleasing God. They are meant to be done. Only as we
do them will their real meaning and blessing be unfolded to us. Only as we do
them can we really grow in the Divine life - walking worthy of the Lord unto
all pleasing, bearing fruit unto every good work", and then
"increasing in the knowledge of God". We must approach God's words
with the same view which God has, that they should be obeyed.
+ We can trust
God too little, but we cannot trust Him too much!
+ If a man is
faithful to God he is bound to lose some friends, but God always raises up
others and truer ones to take the "vacant" places.
+ The fiery
baptism of the Holy Ghost will change soft, sleek Christians into hot, lively
heroes for Christ, who will advance and fight and die if need be, but not mark
time!
+ Christ wants
not "nibblers" of the possible, but "grabbers" of the
impossible!
+ Taking counsel
with "flesh and blood" before setting oneself apart to pray and
fellowship with God will always "lead" to a wrong and faithless
decision!
+ The fear of
God is to hate evil, and the love of God is to love righteousness.

My
Children,
I have made you
to be free from all forms of condemnation and every fearful spirit. I have
filled you with the Spirit of power, love, and sound disciplined mind. You are
free from want and lack as you continue forward in faith, for I have liberally
supplied for your every need and I have blessed you with every spiritual
blessing. Yes, and I have made you steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in
the work of the Lord. My words have increased your faith and made you strong,
now edify one another and minister grace to others that I put along your paths.
Stand up and act upon the truths that I have given you. Walk confidently as My
Ambassadors, unashamed, led by My Spirit. For truly I have made you the salt of
the earth and the light of the world. Be about My business, Hold nothing back
from Me. Let the fullness of My blessing penetrate your spirits and move
through the sensitivity of your souls. I shall use you as My mouth pieces and I
shall open new doors of opportunity before you as you say yes to My Spirit.
Yes, I shall move you swiftly to do My bidding and I will remove every weight
that you may run unhindered. Get ready to run! Get ready to speak! Get ready to
be My Witnesses in ways you never thought possible. My children, I will surely
give you what is needed for your your journeys and you preservation as you
confess your need for My help in this respect.

he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and
Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. 2 And the LORD said to Satan,
"The LORD rebuke you, O Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke
you! Is not this a brand plucked from the fire?" 3 Now Joshua was standing
before the angel, clothed with filthy garments. 4 And the angel said to those
who were standing before him, "Re-move the filthy garments from him."
And to him he said, "Behold, I have taken your iniquity away from you, and
I will clothe you with pure vestments." 5 And I said, "Let them put a
clean turban on his head." So they put a clean turban on his head and
clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD was standing by"....
Zechariah 3:1-5 ESV
The Lord is
calling us to allow Him to change our garments in preparation for what He will
soon be leading us into individually, and as a Body. These garments represent
old thought patterns, mindsets, sins, shallow or deficient theology, false
doctrine and anything that we may currently hold that is contrary to the Word
and Spirit of Truth.
Old garments
become soft and comfortable with time, and many people are reluctant to give
them up, as they grow emotionally attached to them. It is easier to just think
and behave according to the pattern one is used to rather than to discard what
is known and comfortable for what is new and unknown.
Others prefer to
keep what they have as they fear the brief period of nakedness they would
experience while their garments are being changed. Fear of exposure, especially
with the enemy of their soul watching, can be terrifying. Uncertainty about
what might transpire and what others will think and say may cause some to
reject a garment change.
Many others do
not perceive their need for new garments, thinking that their theology,
doctrine, manner of living and attitudes are without defect. There is great
need for self-examination and willingness for the Lord to reveal where we are
not in true alignment with Him.
And some
willfully reject correction and change out of pride, rebellion, or the desire
to protect their selfish interests. This was the reason for Jesus' condemnation
of the Scribes, Pharisees and Lawyers.
We must first
allow the Lord to reveal that our garments are soiled and need changing. We
must then consent to this change. Notice that the Lord achieves this change
through the ministry of angels in Zechariah 3. It is His work and He will
accomplish it, as we cooperate and obey.
Joshua stands
naked before all present as he is washed of the old and prepared for the new.
Certainly humility, and sometimes humiliation, will be the prerequisite to
being clothed anew and made ready for closer ministry to the Lord. This is also
pictured in Leviticus 16:4 in the instructions for the high priest to prepare
for ministry to the Lord in the most holy place, and in Numbers 8:20-22 as the
Levites strip and wash their garments before of the congregation, ahead of
entering the tent of meeting.
In Zechariah 3:5
Joshua called for a clean turban on his head. He perceived his need to have his
mind covered in holiness and purity. The turban also represents revelation and
deeper insight into the hidden truths of God. For some this will require
repentance from "dead works", which includes holding errant ideas.
Pet doctrines and faulty theology must be abandoned before new truth can be
obtained. It must be asked for and sought after in earnest, by way of prayer,
meditation and diligent study. However, it must be placed on the head by the
Lord Himself. The time between the recognition and abandonment of errant
thinking and the arrival of solid truth in that area will cause feelings of
exposure and uncertainty. However, this must take place so that we are first
clothed with humility and learn to trust God to clothe us with His pure
vestments.
This is a
dangerous place to be, if one loses faith in obtaining the new truth (garments)
hoped for. If the humble position of asking, seeking, and trusting is abandoned
in order to be quickly clothed in whatever may be nearby or seem expedient,
deception will once again take over and prevent the pure white garments from
being worn.
Progress, in
every area of life, is impossible unless consent is given for this personal
transformation. More than that, the Lord showed me that those who reject this
cleansing and sanctifying work will fall into greater darkness and deception.
The garments that they have become comfortable with, and choose to keep, will
become grave clothes and bind them in the grip of death. For those who are
tapped by the Lord for a garment change, unwillingness, neglect, an unteachable
spirit or rebellion at this point will prove disastrous.
I have
personally been challenged by this word since receiving it in late 2005. Many
others close to me have also reported enduring an intensified process of this
type over this period of time. What I have found is that once a new
garment is obtained it brings greater revelation and clarity in other areas,
and at the same time reveals other things that need to be abandoned in order to
seek new truth. This process is likely to cause considerable discomfort and
pain. But we must desire truth more than comfort. Stopping at any point gives
entrance to confusion, darkness and the soiling of what has already been
cleansed. While this should be a life long process for followers of Christ,
this is an appointed time of accelerated transformation, and we must not allow
it to go by without a proper response.
There will soon
be a call from prophetic and apostolic voices to correct many errors held by
much of the church in North America. Those who have been yielding to the
process of divinely led garment change will have little trouble coming into
alignment with these messages. Those who have not will find it difficult, or
impossible, to embrace. Many will resist and be led into deeper deception and
oppose the new messengers of God as a result.
I encourage you
to seek His face and step into the place of yielded obedience in every area
that the Lord puts His finger on as needing a garment change. Trust in the
goodness and faithfulness of the Lord to keep and protect those who love Him
and love truth above all else.

SPIRITUAL TAPESTRY

As we
were worshiping last night [at Faith Tabernacle], I had a vision in conjunction
with the message that was preached earlier. It was as if each of us was a
thread and we were being woven together to become a richly colored tapestry. I
noticed how different the front side was from the back side. The back side
revealed all the knotted ends, loose and disconnected threads, and a general
sense of disorder, which seems to be how we see each other when we are looking
through the eyes of flesh. But when we are seeing with the eyes of the spirit
and with faith, we see a completed picture of purpose and unity with each one
functioning in their individual anointing. Seeing the front side of the
tapestry happens when we have God's heart towards each other and believe the
best on their behalf. I began to ask the Lord if this tapestry that I was
seeing had a particular purpose. He said it was His breastplate. How awesome, I
thought, that Jesus, our High Priest, wears us over His heart. The patterns in
the tapestry began to take shape as the sign of the dove, and the golden
threads that were woven within began to glow and radiate with His glory.

KORAH'S REBELLION
PART EIGHT
ALL REBELLION RELEASES THE FORCE OF DEATH
In
knowing that rebellion against God and His delegated authorities releases the
force of death, we can understand why God prophesies through His apostles and
prophets saying such things as,
...."I will
not stand for the rejection of My bondservants and handmaidens any
more"...
for not only are
they rejecting God by rejecting His delegated authorities, but, in their
rebellion and disobedience, they are also releasing the force of death and
darkness out into the church and how much longer is the Father going to put up
with that?
THE PREPARATION OF A TRUE WORKING
"FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY"
One
of the chief things that has been happening over the past few decades in the
Church, is that God is preparing His apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors
and teachers and bringing them into their proper position. He has trained them
in their times spent before Him in intimate fellowship to walk in perfect
obedience and to gain a revelation of His absoluteness as the Church age comes
to a close. It is through these "absolute revelations" that the
absoluteness of the "Divine Requirement" shall be ministered to all
the children of God and all those who truly love God shall thus be lifted up
(elevated) - as they hear these precious and holy words coming forth from the
Throne Room - into their proper place in the Church. Let it be understood that
there are two messages of judgement: one good news and one bad news. The good
news is for the people who are worshipping in spirit and truth and seeking to
walk in perfect obedience in all that they do. The bad news is for the slothful
and the wicked and the rebellious children of God who refuse to reject the
spirit of this world, and who have thus "allowed" themselves to be
possessed by all that that spirit entails (humanism, false religion and
carnality).
CHOOSE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE!
Now
it is certain that it is up to each individual believer to decide whether they
are going to go on with God into the "fulness" of their inheritance
in Christ or remain in bondage to an element of self-desire, but it is just as
certain that those who "forsake" the will of God to follow after
their own rebellious way and who, thus, will be found reviling the delegated
authorities and blaspheming the glory of God (blasphemo doxa) shall be severely
and thoroughly judged in this most critical hour of the entire Church age.
There are many when they hear words such as these who say, "well, God's
not like that", but because they have no knowledge of their own sinful and
rebellious ways - through a lack of "direct contact" with the One
whom they claim to serve - they do not realize that they have trampled
underfoot the Son of God and have regarded as unclean the Blood of the Covenant
and thus, have insulted the Spirit of Grace. God has no hatred for mankind and
does not judge mankind in themselves apart from sin and rebellion. It is the
sinfulness and rebelliousness that are inherent in the old nature, by way of
the first Adam, that God has a controversy with, and it is only as we continue
to reach out to receive the fulness of the provision that God has blessed us
with in Christ, that we can escape the sin and rebellion which shall surely be
consumed regardless of where it is found. In all judgement, whether it be the
church of Jesus Christ or the world, the onus is not now with God, for He has
clearly stated, through the ministering of His Word, the way to experience
salvation from the certain, terrifying expectation of judgement and the fury of
the fire which will consume the adversaries. Let each one of us come to know
and have a deep revelation of the judgements which are upon the earth, for
indeed it is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God
without having the assurance that we are cleansed continually from all
unrighteousness by the precious Blood of the Lamb (Hebrews 10:26-31).
THE GRAVE DANGER OF RETAINING "EMOTIONAL
ATTACHMENTS" - WHICH ARE A "CATALYST" TO THE "FEAR OF
MAN"
...."But
on the next day all the congregation of the sons of Israel grumbled against
Moses and Aaron, saying, "You are the ones who have caused the death of
the Lord's people." It came about, however, when the congregation had
assembled against Moses and Aaron, that they turned toward the tent of meeting,
and behold, the cloud covered it and the glory of the Lord appeared. Then Moses
and Aaron came to the front of the tent of meeting, and the Lord spoke to
Moses, saying, "Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume
them instantly." Then they fell on their faces. And Moses said to Aaron,
"Take your censer and put in it fire from the altar, and lay incense on
it; then bring it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, for
wrath has gone forth from the Lord, the plague has begun!" Then Aaron took
it as Moses had spoken, and ran into the midst of the assembly, for behold, the
plague had begun among the people. So he put on the incense and made atonement
for the people. And he took his stand between the dead and the living, so that
the plague was checked. But those who died by the plague were 14,700, besides
those who died on account of Korah. Then Aaron returned to Moses at the doorway
of the tent of meeting, for the plague had been
checked"....

From the actions
of the people the following day, that is, the grumbling against Moses and
Aaron, accusing them of being the ones who caused the death of the Lord's
people, we can see many things. First of all - once again - we see that the
spirit of rebellion is very contagious and that as soon as the people began to
grumble it spread in their midst and they quickly forgot the awesome judgement
which had manifested before their eyes the day before. It is obvious from this
portion of scripture that many of the congregation were still in rebellion
against God for they did not place their importance upon God's words and
actions but rather they "mourned" for their sinful and rebellious
former leaders - hence the grave danger of retaining any "emotional
attachments". As we go forth in our daily walks, seeking to avoid the
pitfalls of carnality and that fear of man which brings a snare, we must
realize that carnal eyes seek only to lean upon "flesh and blood" and
thus they do not have the revelation that all "true" authority comes
from God. It is a most dangerous thing for a child of God to lack a revelation
of divine authority, but it is certain that none who follow after their
"own" physical and mental perceptions can walk in the spiritual
because it is above and beyond the "fallen" nature of man and the
five physical senses inherent within - unless those senses have been
"renewed" to the point wherein they are able to discern between good
and evil (righteousness and unrighteousness (Hebrews 5:14). On the surface it
seems surprising that any of those who had witnessed the absolute and devastating
judgements of the day before could still align themselves against God and His
authority, but this is just another clear portrayal of the foolishness of man's
wisdom and his failure to realize that God's thoughts are higher than his own.
Thus, as they go forth in their rebellion, exalting themselves above God and
His servants, they draw down the judgements of God upon themselves. Once again
we see that Moses - empowered by the divine love of God in his heart - took
action on behalf of those who reviled them and he told Aaron to make atonement
for the people and thus the plague was checked but not before 14,700 besides
those who died on account of Korah, met their death. The only way for the child
of God to have a clear and true revelation of the authority of God in this last
hour - whether delegated or inherent - is to be in close fellowship with the
Father and His Word and to pray without ceasing - seeking only to please God in
all that they do.
