THE MINISTRY LETTER 2006 ISSUE 7

To all handmaidens and bondservants of the Lord Jesus Christ:

...."All your sons will be taught of the Lord; And the well-being of your sons will be great. In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; and from terror for it will not come near you"....
                                                                                                                                          Isaiah 54:13-14

The best way that we can have every heart desire (prayer) concerning our families answered is to be so filled with the Word (faith) and the Holy Spirit (continually) that the light shining forth through us exposes anything (any motive) in the heart of the one that comes across our path, that is apart from God - and therefore unrighteous in motive. Sometimes words will not even be necessary. As the power of God continually flows through us every heart will experience the "fullness" of conviction, and they will - eventually - come to the full realization that what they have been trusting in is no longer enough (even if they are already born-again). It is our faith (love) in the covenant we have with the Father concerning our families, and the power of the Holy Spirit that will cause a powerful divine restoration in this hour - a divine restoration that will not only see the unsaved - saved, but also filled with a hunger and thirsting after righteousness and the fulness of God's will for their life. The Devil cannot - and will not - win as long as we keep on walking in love. True love never fails. When things get "really" tough on those with whom we have to do in the days ahead they will know where to turn, and we will be ready!

JESUS' MINISTRY IS THE PERFECT PROTO-TYPE FOR ALL MINISTRY IN THE REMNANT CHURCH

Jesus' ministry is the perfect proto-type for ALL ministry in the remnant Church. Daily He spent time in intimate fellowship with the Father, and then headed out into the day - totally empowered to deal perfectly with whatever crossed His path. So for us, in essence, it is this intimate fellowship with God that produces both a yielding and sensitive heart, and it is from this position of an "abiding" sensitivity and yieldedness that one can hear clearly the voice of the Holy Spirit guiding and instructing, and revealing every scheme of the Enemy. It is also this intimate fellowship - day in and day out - that causes the true believer to enter into the place of "abiding" in true worship of the Father - regardless of whether they are speaking or silent, active in ministry or stationary and alone. To worship in Spirit and Truth is a lifestyle that consumes the heart that is wholly given to God - and His highest purposes.

THOSE WHO ARE FAITHFUL TO THE WILL AND PLAN OF GOD FOR THEIR LIFE AND MINISTRY CAN REJOICE IN THE FACT THAT THIS IS SIMPLY A TIME OF "RE-AWAKENING" [REFRESHING] FOR THEM

All those who are truly seeking first the Kingdom are being fine-tuned in the Father's refining process in this season. He is dealing with His faithful ones in whatever way is necessary for them to enter into the fulness of destiny - that they might, ultimately, be found accomplishing all that they were created for, in Christ. This is very hard at times (on the "flesh") but the truth is that sometimes a child of God "allows" themselves to become "de-sensitized" by the things of the world and this steals away their peace and joy - a peace and joy which are necessary [and which produces an "abiding" strength] to carry out the will of God - at all cost to oneself. Those who are faithful to the will and plan of God for their life and ministry can rejoice in the fact that this is simply a time of "re-awakening" [refreshing] for them, and they can be absolutely assured that He will never allow them to endure more than they are able to in the chastening process. As one continues to fix their eyes on the Word - and spend time daily in the "inner chamber" with the Father - their life will be restored perfectly to all that God intended for them in this final hour.

ENTRANCE INTO "PERFECT LIBERTY

This is the season of divine restoration in the lives of all those who are truly seeking first the Kingdom, and as this divine restoration overtakes those who are faithful and obedient they will gain entrance into the perfect liberty that is theirs in Christ. It is written, Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!" This freedom in Christ is an eternal thing that simply begins now, but as one enters into the place of abiding in this freedom it is certain that they will begin to walk non-stop supernaturally until the race is finished.

Let us hear the words of the Father:

  "THE TIME HAS COME FOR SELFISHNESS AND DECEIT TO BE REMOVED FROM MY CHURCH"

...."Many times when I desire to lead My children I will strongly impress upon their hearts an instruction, or guidance which is most certainly in accordance with My Word. It is in this way that I am enabled to guide My children into the "specific place" they are to be, according to My will, at all times. Many of My children act upon an impression which is favourable to their comfort or the desire of their flesh, but as soon as I ask them to give of themselves in some way: spirit, soul, body or materially, which in their eyes might serve to cause them lack, they are bound immediately by a spirit of reluctance to carry out My will. From this one can see the need for consecration and holiness within the church in order that the sin which has been so prevalent until now, be put aside and cast out. Indeed the time has come for selfishness and deceit to be removed from My church. For too long many of My children have continued to put themselves first at the expense of their brothers and sisters - many of whom have been raised up as apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists and pastors for their edification and blessing. Many have been held captive by the Evil One to do his will, but truly, truly I say to you, this shall end abruptly, for again I say to you if one chooses to reject My bondservants, they have chosen to reject Me!"....

"ONE MUST BUILD A CAPACITY FOR MY SPIRIT TO DWELL WITHIN THE TEMPLE"

...."As the minds of My children are renewed to My Word, they will surely grow to love Me more and more. For one must build a capacity for My Spirit to dwell within the temple" and indeed My love shall be shed abroad in their heart, and through them that Love shall be poured out on all flesh"....

"I SHALL SURELY GUIDE THEIR PATHS IN EVERY WAY"

...."My children must learn to act on the impressions I have placed in their spirits, always testing to see whether the impression received is in agreement with My Word. In coming to the realization that the guidance is from Me they must proceed onward, knowing that I shall surely guide their paths in every way; and even if the Evil One attempted to impress My children to go a certain way, am I not watching over them to lead them out of harm's way? My children must also realize that in the area of giving, the Evil One, if he so attempts, will always try and take articles or money which are to be designated for My work and somehow get them into the hands of men and women who will then filter these things into the "world system".

"THEIR DISOBEDIENCE HAS ALLOWED THE EVIL ONE TO MOUNT HIS VILE ATTACKS AGAINST THEM"

...."The time is coming, and now is, when many of My children who have all but ignored My Word, will cry out to Me from a pure heart for they will have come to the stark realization that their disobedience has "allowed" the Evil One to mount his vile attacks against them and for a time they shall be like a people with no home and they shall feel that there is no escape for them. But I say to you I shall cause great signs and wonders to follow those in the five-fold ministry in order to catch the attention of those who have turned their backs on Me, for indeed it is My will that not one soul should perish, and indeed My mercy endures forever. And they shall come and be healed and restored wholly unto Me. It is for this reason that I have issued an alert deep within the spirits of My handmaidens and bondservants to cleanse themselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in respect of the deepest desire of My heart.

"THE SUFFERING THAT MY CHILDREN ARE CALLED TO IN THIS EARTH IS TO STAND CONTINUALLY AGAINST ALL THE THINGS WHICH THEY HAVE BEEN REDEEMED FROM"

...."The "suffering" that My children are called to in this earth is to stand continually against all the things which they have been redeemed from. It is in no way associated with physical sickness or any other manifestation of the law of sin and death, but rather it is to continually release faith in My Word regardless of the pressure of the circumstances which surround them. As their minds become transformed and renewed to My Word, "suffering" shall become the joyful opportunity to further establish My Kingdom in the earth it was intended to be rather than the sorrowful, painful, concept "religion" has made it to be through unbelief"....

MEDITATIONS ON THE TRUE CHRISTIAN LIFE:

+ That Saul (Paul) should be specially named in connection with the death of Stephen, is not without a purpose in the mind of God.  This young man was even then a "chosen vessel". He had already been fully trained in the Jewish scriptures, at the feet of Gamaliel.  His "theological course", so to speak, was practically finished. It was no intellectual "knowledge" that he now needed to make him a fit messenger of Christ, but a direct revelation of Christ, both as the Lamb slain, and as the Living One who "became dead" and....alive forever more.

+ All the mighty achievements wrought by men and women of God have been accomplished by faith in the Word of God!

+ My faith is in the living Word, the written Word. It is that Word on my lips that heals the sick, that breaks the power of demons over men; I hold it in my hand. I have it in my heart. I have it on my lips. I live it. It lives in me. The Word is my healing, my strength. It is the bread of life to me. It is the strength, the very ability of God to me. The Word is my confession.  The Word is my light and salvation. The Word gives me quietness in the midst of confusion; it gives me victory in the midst of defeat.  It gives me joy where desolation once ruled. The Word on my lips becomes the living, life-saving, soul-inspiring voice of God.

+ The Devil does not sleep, nor is the flesh yet dead apart from a diligent faith and perfect obedience; therefore cease not to prepare yourself for battle, for there are enemies on the right hand and the left who never rest!

+ The time has passed wherein the people of God can "pick and choose" from the words which "flow" out of true apostolic and prophetic ministry. For to reject one word of the true apostle or prophet is to reject "all" of their words. But the receiving of God's words through His messengers shall surely cause the "hearer" to "touch" the deepest thoughts and intentions of the Father's heart.

+ The Cross of Calvary can only be understood in the light of the "utter ruin" of man in the "Fall", and the extent of the fall of man can only be seen in the light of Calvary. Moreover, the knowledge of sin as it is in the sight of God, can only come to men who are blinded by the Fall, and darkened in their understanding, by the convicting of the Holy Spirit of God. And the knowledge of the "remedy" in the propitiatory sacrifice of the Son of God on the Cross of Calvary, can only come by the same convicting power of the Holy Spirit.

I am removing everything - all aspects of the former ways. That is why the transition has been so rough. The removal of many of the securities in which you relied upon, has created a freedom that you are not used to, and you have responded with uncertainty, hesitancy, and fear. Do not hold back, but press on. The new level is both sound and stable. I have made the way before you and you are able to walk fully in your position without any difficulties. Your perception is the only hindrance that you are struggling with. You perceive many things to seem to be off. Your former ways of measurements are now not adequate for the new level. You cannot measure and make decisions by the former ways. You must let your former ways of making spiritual measurements and decisions to be transformed into My ways.

"THE DIMENSIONS OF THE SPIRIT THAT LAY OPEN BEFORE YOU ARE NOT TO BE WALKED AS YOU HAVE FORMERLY WALKED IN THE SPIRIT"

Do not think that you can just adjust. There is no adjusting of the old to the new. You must let go. You must take on My thoughts and let Me think through you and show you how to perceive things and make right distinctions. If you continue to walk in this state of upheaval and misunderstanding you will wander off and out of the place I have put you. Stand firmly, regroup, and listen to Me. The things of the Spirit, especially the deeper things of My Spirit that I am opening up to you, must be discerned by the Spirit. The Dimensions of the Spirit that lay open before you are not to be walked as you have formerly walked in the Spirit. I am bringing you the full measure of your position, and you must have full illumination to be able to cooperate with Me and to work with Me effectively as I move through you in the earth.

"EVERYTHING IS MOVING ACCORDING TO MY TIMING, AND MY PLANS ARE UNFOLDING"

I am moving in new ways. I am not holding back or delaying. Everything is moving according to My timing, and My Plans are unfolding. Do not concern yourself with the details, but yield to Me, and step forth trusting Me to work out what you will walk out. The uncovering is only beginning. I am shaking every layer of society and governments. From the individual household, to the business corporation, to the national structures. All will be laid bare. Nothing will remain the same, for I am bringing the changes now. Upheaval is everywhere as I work My work, for the old will pass under My Plumb line as it is all judged according to it's fruit. Natural realignments will take place even more now, even as the spiritual dimensions shift, so will the nations also rearrange. Heads of nations and of states will shift, even as Mine take their heavenly places and assume their roles for the final battle. The convergence of the heavenly pattern and the earthly pattern is complete. Now I bring the transformation and the two patterns will now flow out of My Vessels.

"IN ORDER FOR YOU TO WALK UNAFFECTED YOU MUST WALK IN YOUR ETERNAL [KINGDOM] POSITIONS AND IN MY WISDOM"

As the shakings increase, so will the indecisiveness of those who are walking outside of My will. In order for you to walk unaffected, you must operate in your eternal positions and in My wisdom, and not after the ways of the carnal and the religious in which you formerly walked and functioned. There will be no more entering in and out of the Spirit. You must learn to abide in the Spirit continually, as I have shown you in My Word. Divine Wisdom comes as you walk correctly aligned and submitted. Maintain your place and begin to receive My thoughts and ways, and learn to function with My leading so that you can now operate at your full potential and authority that I have given to you. The revelations that you are inquiring after can be found as you spend time with Me, for they await your coming before Me. I am drawing the Generals together, and summoning the ranks into their stances. Take each step with the knowledge that I am with you and in you. Learn to judge with My judgments, and to choose with My wisdom, and to walk in My strength. Do nothing without inquiring of Me, and be faithful with My Word. As you do, I will bring everything to the Light and show forth My Handiwork, as you go.

KORAH'S REBELLION

[PART ONE]

A SEVERE ADMONITION TO ALL "LEADERSHIP" IN THE CHURCH

...."The Lord also spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to the sons of Israel, and tell them that they shall make for themselves tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and that they shall put on the tassel of each corner a cord of blue. And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, so as to do them and not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you played the harlot, in order that you may remember to do all My commandments, and be holy to your God. I am the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt to be your God; I am the Lord your God." Now Korah the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Elilab. and on the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took action and they rose up before Moses, together with some of the sons of Israel, two hundred and fifty leaders of the congregation, chosen in the assembly, men of renown. And they assembled together against Moses and Aaron, and said to them, "You
have gone far enough. for all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is in their midst; so why do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord?"....
                                                                                                                                  Numbers 15:37-16:3

Let us look closely at the story of Korah and his rebellion against Moses (God). This is a very important story because it points to many spiritual principles which are, of course, eternal and which affect us a great deal at this time in the church, especially considering the fact that we are in the "last of the last hour". What has happened here initially in this portion of scripture, is that God has spoken to Moses His prophet, telling him to speak to the sons of Israel, and commanding them to make for themselves "tassels"; these tassels were to be a sign for them to, both look at and remember "all" the commandments of the Lord, so as to do them and not follow after their own heart and their own eyes - after which they had played the harlot. With these commandments of God came also a stern admonishment of their past harlotry and sin against Him. We must keep in mind the simple fact that God spoke to Moses what HE desired to say to His people, and that Moses, as His messenger, was only delivering the message which God had given to him. Between Numbers 15:41 and Numbers 16:1 there is a space in time. Moses, in obeying the command of God, went to the people of Israel and told them exactly what God had said to him and so what is about to happen in Numbers 16:1 is a result or consequence of Moses' perfect obedience before God in delivering God's message to His people. The first thing we notice in the beginning of chapter 16 is the fact that Korah along with Dathan and Abiram "took action" and the Word states that they rose up before Moses together with some of the sons of Israel, two hundred and fifty leaders of the congregation, chosen in the assembly, men of renown.

THE "CALLED ONES OF GOD"

The cross reference given for the term "chosen in the assembly" is literally "called ones of God". So right away we establish the fact that these ones who had set themselves in rebellion against Moses were those who were "men of renown" and "called" of God. As they assembled together, they accused Moses and Aaron of exalting themselves above the congregation, stating that, as far as they were concerned, the congregation was already walking in holiness and asked the question under the influence of a "spirit of accusation":

...."so why do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord?"....

It becomes obvious through the actions of these leaders that their hearts had become hardened towards God and not only were they unaware of their "past harlotry" and they considered their own actions proper and in place before God and they accused Moses of being "inaccurate" and "improperly motivated". These accusations, of course, were not true, for in the time of close and intimate fellowship with God Moses was enabled to receive the message of the Lord and his only intent was to be obedient to the task given him by God. Korah and those with him were clearly disrespectful of Moses and Aaron and no doubt even coveted the position they had with God. Because Korah and his men had not given themselves wholly to serve God and obey Him, they failed to see the authority of the Lord in the words which Moses brought to the people. It is most important to note that in their attack against Moses no mention was ever made of Moses relationship with God, which we know was a close one. Even today, as we go forth to judge the apostles and prophets of God, that is, the words of God which are spoken through them, we must surely take into consideration that one's consecration before the Lord, for it is only to the degree that one "fellowships" with God that they can be used of God.

ALL STRIFE IN THE MIDST OF GOD'S PEOPLE HAS AS ITS ROOT IN "SELF-INTEREST"

When the people of God - even "men of renown" - have not subjected themselves wholly to the Word of God (authority of God) then they can in no way discern that which has its origin in the Spirit of God and that which has its origin in the flesh. Anyone who gives preeminence to their own darkened understanding instead of the Word of God will only subject themselves to those things or people whom they can use to further their own selfish interests and this is precisely why every ounce of strife found in the church has its root in self-interest, whereas every ounce of harmony and one accord has its root in the common purpose of seeking first the establishment of God's Kingdom at all cost to oneself. In attacking Moses, without any consideration of his close relationship with God, the leaders showed that they had their own priorities wrong, for as is portrayed clearly in the ministry of Moses and the call upon his life, God requires all those who are called to the ministry to keep fellowship with Him as their "top priority". It is not to minister to people and it is not to minister unto the Church. It is to minister unto the Father, first and foremost, in order that they might be empowered to carry out all the will of God to perfection! If anyone "presumptuously" steps outside of God's requirement to minister unto Him first then they shall lack the power to effectively set the captives free.

ANY ACTION TAKEN APART FROM A REVELATION OF GOD'S WORD AND THE UNCTION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS MOTIVATED BY THE DESIRE FOR SELF- GLORY

We must clearly understand that "any action" taken apart from a "revelation" of the Word of God and the unction of the Holy Spirit is motivated by the desire for self-glory and the "approval" of men, rather than for the glory of God. Because many of those who are called as delegated authorities have put aside, for the most part, their time of ministering unto the Lord, they have "departed" from the only provision that will empower them to successfully carry out the will of God for their lives. For without the love of God having been shed abroad in their heart daily, a process which enlarges their capacity for God's power and wisdom, their efforts shall be found to be in vain and the Enemy shall be enabled to continue his onslaught upon their congregations. It is only as all the servants of God seek to have a pure heart before the Lord, that is, one wholly given to Him to carry out His "purposes", that the power of God's anointing shall return to the midst of the congregations and thus break the yoke of bondage which has been
"held onto" unnecessarily for many years.

"WE MUST BECOME A PEOPLE WHO LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE THEIR BEING IN CHRIST"

It is through the distinct lack of fellowship with God that enables Satan to promote self-interest in the hearts of God's servants and, unless the actions of self-interest are repented of somewhere down the line they will be used by the Evil One to persecute the true bondservants and handmaidens of the Lord and they - just as Korah did - shall "take action". We must become a people who live and move and have our being in Christ, a people who are moved solely by the revealed knowledge of God's Word, but as it is written that the entrance of His Word brings light, we must open our hearts to allow that glorious entrance, or any darkness which has been held to shall remain, thus distorting and perverting our service to our most Holy God. It is an extremely critical time in the history of the Church Age as the Father begins to establish "true" working models of the five-fold ministry in the Local Churches.
